The Jiufen Guide (“we”, “us”) runs this website at jiufen.org. We keep this policy short and plain. It explains what information we collect when you visit the site or email us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What information do we collect?

We collect very little, and only two kinds of information.

• Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and nothing else.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools record basic technical data when you visit: your browser type, the pages you view, the approximate region you connect from, and the site that referred you. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

How do we use cookies and analytics?

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use them to understand which guides are useful and to keep the site working.

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and see which pages people read. We do not sell this data, and we do not build advertising profiles from it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work without them.

What about affiliate links and third parties?

Some pages link to tours and tickets through travel partners, including GetYourGuide. When you click one of those links, the partner may set its own cookie to record that the visit came from us, so we can be credited if you book. How long do we keep your data?

We keep emails only as long as we need them to handle your question and any follow-up. Aggregated analytics data is retained for a limited period and then expires. We do not maintain a marketing database, and we do not send newsletters unless you ask us to.

What are your rights?

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because we collect so little, this is usually a quick request to handle. Email [email protected] and we will respond.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
